Common questions.

Are the tools free?

Yes. Every tool on this page is free, with no accounts, ads, or paid versions.

Do they require installation?

No. Each tool is a ZIP with a script inside. Extract it, run it, and delete the folder when you are done — nothing is installed.

Are they open source?

Yes. The tools are plain PowerShell scripts, so you can open the .ps1 file in a text editor and read exactly what it does before running it.

Can they damage my PC?

They are built to avoid risky surprises. PC Health Advisor is read-only, PC Cleaner Advisor asks before touching anything beyond safe temporary files, and MCT Windows Rescue diagnoses first and asks for confirmation before repairs. Choose only the section that matches your current problem.

How often should I use them?

A health check once a month is plenty. Run the cleaner whenever disk space gets low or the Downloads folder gets out of hand.
